I would appreciate help from anyone.
I saved a filter transfer function from EASE SpeakerLab in TDS format and then attempted to open the file in TEF.
I got the following:
EzeroDivide

Retry Cancel

Now the TEF software will not function.
Any Ideas?
Phil

Easiest fix is probably to delete the "TEF" key in the registry (along with its sub folders). Assuming you're familiar with using Regedit.

The key is at --> HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Gold Line\TEF

Right click on this key and select Delete. Sound Lab will rebuild it automatically.

I had this TEF error again today.
Instead of rebuilding I used Bob Eaton's suggestion and deleted the "TEF" key.
It seems to work.
Anyone know what this error occurs?
Is just a benefit of the software?
Thanks,
Phil

I've written some programs that create TDS files, and have found (the hard way) that SoundLab will crash and burn if there are certain irregularities in the TDS file. The only way to recover SoundLab, is to delete the TEF key in the registry. This is a SoundLab bug.

So my guess is that there is something in the EASE generated TDS file that SoundLab doesn't like. If this is the case, SoundLab will crash every time you try to load that particular file.

I will pass this on to the software folks.   can you tell me what versions of the core and modules you are using please.  Also when posting bugs it is most usefull to let us know what versions you are running.

Thanks

Doug
